  Leisure planning   Research, policies and strategies for assessing, developing and locating leisure services, including coordinating public consultation and assessment processes. Experienced in working with territorial authorities, sports organizations at national, regional and club levels, schools and tertiary providers, trusts and other public agencies.  
  Recreation and sport facility and open space planning   National, regional and local provision planning for recreation and sport facilities and parks. Strategy and implementation plan development. Needs assessment. Specification of type, features and scale of facility or open space requirements. Site option identification, analysis and assessment. Sustainability planning for sport and recreation provision. Facility and park network planning and integration.  
  Walking and cycling planning   Innovative planning for active communities where walking and cycling are the preferred choices for health, recreation and sustainable transport. Planning and integration of parks and street based networks.  
  Market and resource research   Formal and informal research systems for leisure planning, sport facilities and parks, including interview-based surveys, focus groups, design workshops, postal and on-line surveys.  
  Expert evidence   Preparation of assessments of recreation and sport need and impact related to a proposed development, and delivery of expert evidence at resource consent and other planning hearings.  
  Facilitation  

Facilitation of collaboration between health, local government, education, active transport and leisure sectors . Managing community consultation and stakeholder engagement, including workshops, focus groups and public meetings.
